This blog has been open since January 1, 2008, although it’s only been in class use since the end of January when we started the new school year. Since then, we have had visitors from ten countries: Australia (of course!), USA, England, France, Netherlands, Iran, South Korea, Israel, New Zealand and Canada. That’s a pretty good spread, I think.
So, what brings these visitors? How do they find us? We know that our travelling class member Cointha has visited our site from England, France and the Netherlands. We know that some people from the USA linked to this site from last year’s blog. What about the others? How did they find us?
If you are a visitor that doesn’t know one of us personally, we’d really appreciate your posting a comment to tell us how you found us. Thanks!

Hi mrs.C!!! It’s Freya. I really like those clustermaps and I think we should all get them on our bloggs! That would be really cool.
A note from the teacher: Hi Freya – check out your blog; it’s been ClustrMapped!

Hi Mrs C and class,
I’m a LOTE teacher who has just started on my own blog journey with my Indonesian students. I did a search for other great education blogs and found yours. I’m very impressed and was inspired to create my first Voki after seeing your clown.
Keep up the great work. I’ll definitely come back from time to time to check out what’s happening in your class.
Kind regards,
Ibu Nathalie of Ellenbrook Secondary College

Hello 5/6C. I came across your blog through Miss W’s blogroll. I think you’re doing a great job. We’ve just started our class blog this year too, but the students don’t have their own blog yet. Come and visit us at our blog – http://pamthompson.edublogs.org

It’s great to hear from a few of our international visitors – thanks for commenting. You will have noticed we are still quite new at all this, and it’s a challenge finding time to fit blogging into our schedules, but as the terms progress and students become more comfortable with the technology it will get easier.
Penny, if you want to email us you can use the contact form on this blog. We are still beginners at all this but are happy to share what we have learned so far! Visitors are welcome to leave their blog address for us to visit.

Hi Mrs C and 5/6c. I am a teacher from Canada and found your blog from a link on the sidebar of the ClusterMap User of the Month page. It took me to your old address with learnerblogs.org (http://mrsc2902.learnerblogs.org/2008/03/21/clustrmaps-we-love-you/), but with some hunting around, I was able to leave a comment on this post at your new location.
Congratulations, your site looks awesome! I understand you’re in school right now. We’re currently on summer vacation, so I’m setting things up for my Grade 8 class that starts in September. Just surfing around the net to see what other teachers and students are doing… and getting inspired.
Keep up the great work, and perhaps we’ll get a chance to visit you in our new school year.
Cheers, Mr. Kuroneko
From Mrs C: Gidday, Mr K. We are half-way through the third of four terms; our school year finishes on December 19 this year. Thanks for the heads-up about the ClustrMaps link – I’ve added a note there directing people to our new blog. We moved because LearnerBlogs is no longer supported.
