Today Mariah left our school to go to another town. We will miss her because she is such a friendly, happy classmate who tries hard and looks after everyone.
Because she was leaving us Mariah got to be Queen of the Chair – she got to use it whenever she wanted, except when Mrs C needed to recline more than Mariah did. The new chair sure is popular! For her last day Mariah had slaves who looked after her every need – here they are looking after her on her last day with us.

That is a shame she is leaving ! I know how it feels ! There was a boy called Jamie in our class who left school to live in Kilmarnock. (Yes, I am writing from Scotland!) It was very sad because he was one of my friend.

That chair looks fantastic. Lucky Mariah! How can I get a comfy chair like that in my classroom?
From Mrs C: Miss R, you are welcome to come and sit in the chairs anytime! You and I could turf the kids out and we could recline in comfort whilst our grades slave over some tricky work.

Wow! Is this a real school classroom?
I’ve just seen the recliner chair in your classroom….and been used by a student!!!
I had no idea that your classroom was so cosy and comfortable.
Hope you are being keen students and enjoying this year.
Does Mrs C use the chair often?
I hope so!
Best wishes to you all for a happy and successful year,
From Mrs C’s Mum
