There really is such a thing as a four leafed clover – here’s the evidence (this came up for discussion in class recently). There are lots of lucky charms and traditions for wishes – we read about some of them in Felice Arena’s book, Wish.

Some people think it’s lucky to carry a rabbit’s foot. I don’t think that’s very lucky for the rabbit, though!

What do you think is lucky?

The thing that i find lucky is, Finding a horse shoe and either chucking it over your shoulder or hanging it upside down.

From Mrs C: That’s right Brad, horseshoes are considered lucky – that’s why brides carry them on their wedding day. I don’t know if throwing them over your shoulder is lucky for the person standing behind you though! :-)

I don’t know much about good luck but a little bit about bad luck. :b
1: When a bird poohs on your head you get 7 years bad luck. :D
2: When you brake a mirror you get 7 years bad luck again !!
I hope you don’t brake a mirror or abird poohs on your head. :D
