We’ve lost another student. Zack has moved to another school, and we will miss him. Our class discussions will be a lot quieter now, without Zack’s insights and comments.

Freya sent us this message from Indonesia:
heloooo!I like the updates to the class blog.My family and my aunty and cousin,
Lewis are in Lombok at the moment. We spent the last 5 days on a tiny little
island called Gilli Air (ay-ere)it is only 1.5 kilometers long and 1 wide! We
all went on a snorkeling tour around the other tiny islands and we saw heaps of
cool fish and coral and lots of sea turtles! We were allowed to pat them, ( if
we could hold our breath long enough to go to the bottom and back up to the
surface again!. We stopped for lunch on a little island smaller than Gilli Air,
there they had a turtle sanctuary. you could pay the equivalent of 10$ to free
one into the ocean, so we did and we named him Yipes!Tommorow my dad is climbing
Mt. Rinjani and we are going half way up.
