More 8s!

It’s only been ten days since the “lucky” date, 08/08/08. Today, we made it to 8888 hits on our blog!  Ooooh, coincidence? Perhaps… or not. Post your thoughts.

   Hi MrsC,
   Thats pretty fascinating how we got 8888 hits on the same day it was 08/08/08!!!! I reckon it was just a coincidence because the only other possible way for it to happen would be if someone was purposefully going on the site to make sure there were 8888 hits on the counter but still, it doesnt seem likely because I know I wouldnt think of that! Ha ha!

   Hi Katherine and Cointha,
   Katherine, I am not sure what date the London Olympics will start, but I do know it’s in 2012. You could probably search the date online and find exactly when.
   Cointha, we actually got to our 8888th hit on 18/08/08 – pretty claose to the magic day. I didn’t rig the numbers – I just logged on and there it was, so I snapped a picture and posted it! Pretty good, I think. We should have a guessing competition to estimate when we will reach 10,000 hits too. Maybe we could reach 11,111 hits on 11/11!
