The school year is nearly at an end, with next Thursday being our last day as a grade. We are moving to another classroom this Friday, so at the moment everything is being packed into boxes ready to move into one of the “new” rooms. Our current classroom was built in 1915, our new one in 2000, so even though it’s 8 years old, it’s still a NEW room!
We still have Graduation for our grade six students to look forward to next Tuesday – lots of work has been done but we still have to polish up our acts and tweak our slides a bit more. So much to do, so little time!

Hi Daniel,
I looked on the internet and found out about the movie – Duma is actually Swahili for cheetah, so if your pet tiger starts to act strangely you’ll know why!

Freya, that sounds great. I bet the pyramids are amazing up close – touching something that people actually made thousands of years ago is such a weird feeling. If only the stones could talk and tell us all they’ve seen!
Keep in touch with us on the blog and please come and visit next year – bring photos!

Hey Mrs C!
The pool party was really fun today! Splashing about and drawing on ourselves with zink! But…………………………………
You know how you warned us we would have white marks from it?
Well I had drawn a big pink peace sign on my leg! When I got home I srubbed the pink off and instead of the shade of colour the rest of my legs were, it was white!! It’s not THAT bad though! But you can still see it a bit! Oh well, doesnt matter because I like having a peace sign on my leg!
Ha ha!
Bye!
Cointha
